The LMU-China Academic Network is a collaboration between LMU and leading universities and educational institutions in China. The 2nd annual Scientific Forum took place in Hangzhou, China. Topics discussed included medicine & life sciences, humanities & social sciences, as well as physics and geosciences. The goal of the annual conference is to support existing and develop new research cooperation by providing a platform for subject-based exchange and interdisciplinary discussions.
In the future, the location of the Forum will alternate between LMU Munich and one of the anchor partner universities.

CUHK delegation led by Professor Joseph Sung visits LMU to sign an Academic Exchange Agreement between the two Faculties of Medicine, which follows a university-level Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in Hong Kong in August 2016. The agreements focus on strengthening the relationship between our two institutions through collaborative activities such as student mobility programs and summer schools, faculty visits and exchanges, and joint research.
